Listen Live

You can listen to Essential Public Media through your favorite player (including but not limited to iTunes, Windows Media Player, WinAmp or RealPlayer) using these addresses:

• 90.5 FM Live
• 24 Hour Jazz

If you are using software or a device that takes a stream URL, you can input one of the URL's above. If you are using software on your computer and the stream does not open when you click one of the links above, consult that program's help information for where to copy the stream URL to begin playing. For iTunes, Windows Media Player, or RealPlayer specifically, see below:

• iTunes: Copy the URL for the stream you want to listen to. Click "Advanced" and then "Open Stream." Paste in the URL, and click "OK." Check the "Help" section in iTunes for more information.
• Windows Media Player: Go to "Tools" > "Options" > "File Types" (or, in older versions, "Tools" > "Options/Preferences" > "Formats") and make sure that MP3 is selected. Save the options, close Windows Media Player, and restart your computer. Check the "Help" section in Windows Media Player for more information. NOTE: Our streams currently do not work in Windows Media Player. We are working on fixing this, and hope to have this rectified soon.
• RealPlayer: Go to "Tools" > "Preferences", and in the left menu, go to "Content" > "Media Types", and make sure that "MP3 Audio" and "MP3 Playlist" are selected. Click "OK" to save the settings, close RealPlayer, and restart your computer. Check the "Help" section in RealPlayer for more information.
